Styrene Acrylic Epoxy Hybrid Emulsion Polymer
RayKote 2020 is a styrene acrylic epoxy modified hybrid polymer specifically designed for high performance, low VOC, industrial maintenance coating polymers. RayKote 2020 can be formulated into highly durable topcoats and high gloss direct-to-metal finishes. It provides excellent adhesion over variety of metal substrates. Due to its low coalescent demand, coatings formulated with RayKote 2020 can meet current stringent VOC regulations.
Co-polymerized epoxy boosts performance of RayKote 2020 over standard styrene acrylic emulsions, and this hybrid polymer is designed to give a good balance of corrosion resistance, wet/dry adhesion, and exterior durability. It can be formulated with low levels of coalescent for Direct to Metal coatings which are under 100 gm/L VOC.
